POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse & Procurement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all facets of warehouse operations, such as ensuring efficient process, and maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse environment. This role involves managing warehouse inventory and supplies, optimizing workflows, and coordinating logistics to meet staff and customer demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products
  • Assisting in development and implementation of efficient inventory management procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security standards
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate systems
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Implement strategies to minimize stock shortages and overages
  • Coordinate transportation, scheduling, and delivery processes of tents, emergency kits, and tools
  • Monitor and manage fleet vehicle inventory and maintenance
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and IT equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel on a quarterly basis
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience of at least 4 years in warehouse coordination or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • High technical aptitude
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher) and Business Intelligence tools
  • Must reside in or around the St. Louis, Missouri area

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The successful candidate must meet the physical demands essential to perform the job’s core functions. This entails walking, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, talking, and hearing. The role also requires the ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. regularly and 30-40 lbs. occasionally.
