Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our dynamic healthcare IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of various healthcare technologies, including nurse call systems, voice and messaging mobility solutions, RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems), EHR/HL7 interfaces, and data solutions. You will work closely with clinical and technical staff to ensure systems are operational and secure, contributing to improved patient care and streamlined workflows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems including hardware, software, and network components.
• Help in monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Participate in documenting system performance, including incident reports and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Support the IT team in daily/monthly operations such as data backup, system updates, and user support.
• Collaborate with team members on projects to optimize network and system processes.
• Learn and apply new technologies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of IT networks and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
• Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies.
• CompTIA and Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
